Theatrical production company

It was founded in 2011 in Barcelona with the aim of bringing together professionals from the city’s theatre scene around independent, innovative and contemporary projects. Very often the theatrical dynamics, public and private, respond to strictly business or programmatic criteria and the actors, directors, stage designers, etc … who carry them out, we end up not having any attachment with the productions in which we participate. La Brutal wants to be the motor of personal, genuine projects with a marked urban accent. We are a production company committed to the changes that surround us and with the firm will to attract new audiences to the theatre. Complicity, risk, emotion, words, physicality, analysis, the search for new forms and narratives … are central concepts in our theatrical practice.
